TAFÍ VIEJO

TAFÍ VIEJO

6x50mins
In the city of Tafí Viejo, where lemon plantations cross the old abandoned tracks of the Argentine trains, two young people in their twenties meet and fall in love. As soon as they get to know each other, passion takes over Ana and Mauro in this Tucuman paradise. But the “honeymoon” is overshadowed when, upon returning from an idyllic night in the Yungas, conflicts explode in their faces. Only the strength of truth will allow them to live this love story—if they have the courage to face it.

Ana must confront her father and brother, who want to force her to sell her share of the family citrus business—which is currently facing financial difficulties—while she simultaneously tries to reconstruct the wishes of her late mother, the original heiress of the company.

Meanwhile, Mauro must face the consequences of a bad investment that wiped out both his savings and those of his family.

At the same time, they both have to fight against their families’ conservative views and social class differences to live out their love. Because Ana is an Urquijo and Mauro is a Muñoz. And that is undeniable. Ultimately, a past secret between the young lovers’ families becomes the final test they must overcome for their relationship to triumph.
