“Estefanía “Epa” Urriga, an artist and teacher, sees her life fall apart when her father is investigated for corruption. To escape the scandal, Epa travels to Taiwan under the guise of seeking answers from her mother, with whom she has no relationship; but she distracts herself with new friendships, adventures between cities and unexpected passions. Only when reality catches up her does she decide to confront her mother, who, instead of offering comfort, demands that she take a stand. With no other way out, Epa realizes she must make a decision: continue running or take responsibility for her story.
