chance to redeem himself in a dance contest for seniors.
Together with Carmen, his dance partner and friend of a Day Center for the elderly, he strives to learn the steps of salsa, cumbia and bolero.
The couple rehearses rigorously under the instruction of Daniel, a 70-year-old homosexual man. The closeness with Daniel bothers Eugenio, but soon he realizes that it is his only real chance to win.
When Carmen dies unexpectedly during the semifinals, Eugenio makes a radical decision and continues in the competition, but this time with Daniel as a dance partner.
The organization of the contest tries to keep them out of the competition; however, Eugenio faces his own prejudices with the determination to finally achieve the triumph that he so desires.
Eugenio moves freely, lightly and willing to give everything to continue dancing.
